Good Deed Charity is a private organization composed of more than 300
leading private industrialists, professionals and traders.
Founded in 1986, the organization has been active in supporting various philanthropic projects. In 1998, the group denoted the funds for purchase of CCU equipment for Taleghani Hospital (One of the leading educational hospitals affiliated with SBU). In 1989, after realizing the major housing issues faced by hundreds of non-local students in the metropolitan Tehran area, the group decided to fund a new all female dormitory. The dormitory named Amal Saleh (Good Deed) after the group's name was inaugurated in 1993.
