After 41 years of an illustrious medical carrier in Iran, Dr. Yazdi has been spending his retirement years in Paris, France. In 1998, he decided to devote a major seed fund to Shahid Beheshti University, one of the biggest institutions of higher education in Iran for the construction of a dormitory devoted to married post-graduate students, recently-recruited faculty members and visiting scholars and researchers. In order to guarantee the success of the project, Dr. Yazdi has set rules in using his funds.
  1. The university can not use the money for 3 years.
  2. The university should use her funds, interest free loans or grants from philanthropists for the project and use the funds donated by Dr. Yazdi as a guarantee for the repayment of such loans.
