Administrative Board

The Board of Trustees is the highest ranking Committee consists of Minister of Culture and Higher Education as the Chair of the Committee, President of the University and six distinguished academic members. The members will be appointed through the Minister's suggestion and by verdicts of the President of Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Cultural Revolution Council. The Chair holds office for a period of four years. The Comunitee members meet two times annually and are responsible for principal objectives to discuss and making decisions about the University's significant strategies and policies.

President

President is the supreme body of the University appointed through the suggestion of the Minister of Culture and Higher Education and by agreement of
High Council of Cultural Revolution and the verdict of the Minister for a period of tour years. The presidentship period could be expanded, by agreements. The University executive and administrative affairs acts under the supreme supervision of President and his five Vice-Presidents. Dr. Hadi Nadimi, President of Shahid Beheshti University, is an expert architect and holds office since 1984.

Accreditation Council

The Accreditation Council is mainly concerned with procurement, development and promotion of the academic staff through establishing and maintaining rules and regulations in due course. President, Research Vice-President, Academic Vice- President and a number of professors are members of the Council. 1984.

Presidential Council Consisting of President and his five Vice- Presidents the Council is mainly concerned with making decisions to perform the High Council of Cultural Revolution and Ministry's sanction, and to coordinate inter relation of the Vice Presidencies and current affairs of the University.
